For The Lovers - A Night with Frankie The Godson Vienna Concert reviews
he used too much of his old material
Funny he was, but way too much material from 'X-rated' he used, which was pretty disappointing. I gave it 3 stars because he's still mike epps and i still kinda like him because of his past work but this was crap to me (otherwise it'd def get 1 star). Plus the location was HORRIBLE. He got distracted a lot by the audience- he kept making fun of random people and cussing out hecklers. I didn't pay all this money so you could recycle your jokes. If you've seen "Never Faded, X-rated" I don't recommend attending this current tour he's on right now. For The Lovers - A Night with Frankie The Godson. I was like stick to the script man! but then again, i don't think he had one. It was beneficial in this case because everyone was stuck in traffic. Oh yea, they DEFINITELY didnt start on time (like an hour & a half late). I feel bad for the few ppl who actually arrived on time and had to wait (not me, Thank God, because I would have grown increasingly livid with each passing second). No parking because they stupidly decided to have it the same time as the FIESTA parade (big deal in san antonio, but i didnt care) so there were MULTITUDES of people walking the streets (which pissed me off), roads were blocked off and traffic was terrible(which made me irate). it was like he just thought 'im gonna go make a quick buck, do a comedy show for about an hour and im not gonna plan my sketch at all because im just that good"...no, you're not. improv is cool and all but NOT through out the whole show. At the end, he just recited lines from his movies like next friday, benjamins...etc. it was funny the first few times but NOT through the whole show... it was like he was trying to kill time. stop trying to relive your mediocre acting career. its time to go. He was like, ok your wack. and he did that same BIG Girls song at the end like in the comedy central show and ppl were going crazy for it! (r u kidding me?? i saw right through it all). One word to describe it: LAZY.
